PERSIAN — Pray for continued strength and protection for believers in Iran during this time of conflict. Pray that the light of the gospel would shine brightly in the midst of hardship and uncertainty. Ask that many more would come to know the hope of Christ in places where access to the gospel is limited.
NEPAL — Praise God for calling a young seminary student and giving her a heart to reach her community with the good news of Jesus. Pray for her as she completes her theological studies and continues recording Tharu language programs for Words of Hope. Ask the Lord to give her wisdom, confidence, and clarity as she shares the gospel through media.
UGANDA — We give thanks for the way in which God has drawn a woman named Kokoi to himself through the message she heard on the radio in Uganda. Her life is now showing signs of true transformation. Pray that she will continue to grow strong in her faith, leave behind old habits, and walk daily in Christ’s love.
SOUTH SUDAN — There is growing peace and stability in South Sudan, which is allowing ministry work to continue and lives to be reached through radio. Pray that God would strengthen efforts to promote unity, reconciliation, and lasting peace. Ask the Lord to guide the Words of Hope South Sudan team as they share messages of peace and love.
NIGER — Pray for hearts to soften in a village in Niger that recently turned away Words of Hope team members looking to distribute SD cards with audio program recordings. Pray that in time these people would become curious about the message of the gospel and be open to hearing the truth about Christ.
INDIA — Praise God for a recent seekers gathering in India. Many came with open and hungry hearts. Pray that the messages shared about faith, forgiveness, and the healing power of Jesus would continue to take root in their lives. Ask the Lord to strengthen those who are seeking him, that they will be drawn into deeper relationship with Christ.
TÜRKIYE — Pray for the ministry in Türkiye as they continue to navigate ongoing financial challenges and economic instability. Ask the Lord to provide for their needs and to restore what has been lost. Lift up the staff, asking that they would experience God’s care in this season. Pray for strength, wisdom, and encouragement.
INDONESIA — Pray for pastors and leaders as they prepare sermons and devotionals across Indonesia. Ask the Lord to guide those who compile and translate resources with Words of Hope, that they would be given wisdom and unity in sharing Scripture. Pray that churches using these materials would be strengthened in sound teaching and encouraged in their worship.
ALBANIA — A listener in Albania writes: “I love to listen to programs that teach me about the basics of faith. I need to learn more about God. One of the programs I love to listen to every day is Words of Hope. I feel privileged to learn more about Jesus through this program.” Pray for this listener, that her understanding of Scripture would grow as she continues to listen.
DEVOTIONAL — One year ago, members of the Words of Hope home office in North America traveled to Uganda to help present a training on devotional writing. Now the team in Uganda has hosted a second Uganda Writers Retreat. Praise God for the progress being made in planning and preparing upcoming Ugandan devotionals.
BHUTAN — Praise God for eight individuals who recently affirmed their faith publicly through baptism and for the growing work of the gospel in their community in Bhutan. Pray for these new believers, that they would grow strong in their faith and remain united in Christ. Give thanks especially for an entire family baptized together, and ask that their witness would impact others.
INDIA — Pray that the Word of God shared in the Dogri language would continue to bring clarity, comfort, and transformation. Ask the Lord to strengthen the team as they faithfully serve with unity and dedication. Pray that the seeds planted in this community would grow and bear lasting fruit in many lives.
