PERSIAN — Give thanks for a recent Persian discipleship conference where more than 40 people gathered, including 13 individuals from inside Iran who were able to travel out of the country during this difficult time. Six attendees were baptized. Please lift up those carrying deep sorrow, and ask the Lord to comfort them and strengthen their trust and faith.
UGANDA — Please pray for ongoing seminars being held for widows and widowers in Uganda. Ask that the Lord will draw participants—especially widowers who are often more reluctant to come. Pray that at these gatherings God will meet people in their seasons of loneliness and loss so they may receive comfort, encouragement, and meaningful connection in Christian community.
SOUTH SUDAN — Pray for peace and stability in South Sudan, where renewed conflict and political tensions continue to threaten fragile progress and put millions at risk. Pray for families facing extreme hunger and food insecurity, especially those in Upper Nile and Jonglei states where conflict has driven displacement and acute malnutrition.
NIGER — A listener named Ibiyemi has heard and understood the message of the gospel but is struggling with fear and shame that keep him from openly following Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit would soften his heart and give him courage to trust Jesus despite the opinions of family and friends.
INDIA — Please pray for Pastor Ameen and the nine families of his house church. Ask the Lord to strengthen both new and growing believers in their faith. Pray especially for a family that travels over 15 miles across the mountains each week to join the Sunday service. Pray that God will protect and encourage this family.
INDONESIA — Pray for listener community coordinators in Indonesia. Ask the Lord to renew their wisdom, leadership skills, and spiritual vitality as they guide their groups. Pray that a recent Zoom training and review of discussion materials will strengthen the quality of discipleship in each community.
ALBANIA — Please pray for the continued production of Discipleship Essentials. Ask the Lord to guide every detail as the team works. Pray that pastors and ministry leaders across the country will embrace this curriculum with enthusiasm and faithfulness. Ask God to use these lessons to deepen believers’ understanding of Scripture and strengthen the church.
DEVOTIONAL — Give thanks for Words of Hope prayer breakfast groups who regularly gather to lift up ministry fields and leaders around the world in prayer. Pray that the Lord will strengthen these fellowships and grow the faith of those who gather together each month. We pray for the Lord’s guidance to grow the Words of Hope prayer ministry.
TÜRKIYE — Please pray for the people of Türkiye as the nation continues to navigate economic strain and rising costs of living that are affecting many families. Pray also for areas where people are still recovering from the devastating earthquakes of recent years. Ask that God would bring restoration, stability, and hope.
INDIA — Give thanks for the 36 children who recently gathered at one of Words of Hope’s tutoring centers to celebrate Children’s Day. Ask the Lord to continue nurturing their joy and creativity. Pray that the seeds planted through activities like drawing, speech, and fellowship will encourage confidence and growth.
NEPAL — Please pray that the radio ministry in Nepal continues to reach unreached people with sermons and with practical health and hygiene programming in order to strengthen both bodies and souls. Pray that listeners’ hearts will be open to the gospel message shared through every broadcast.
BHUTAN — Give thanks for the faithful production of Words of Hope Bhutan programs in both Dzongkha and Tshangla languages. Pray that each program touches hearts and opens doors for the gospel. Give thanks for new followers on social media, and ask the Lord to continue growing the online Bhutanese community.
