BHUTAN — Pray for our dedicated producers who often stay up late or wake up early to record programs during quiet hours. The Bhutanese producers do not have a studio, so they work creatively to capture clear audio in their homes when noise is at a minimum. Ask God to give them strength and encouragement as they serve behind the scenes.
UGANDA — A listener named Fred was deeply impacted by Words of Hope programs on reconciliation. He is now taking steps to forgive and rebuild a broken relationship with his sons after years of conflict. Ask God to give him wisdom, humility, and strength as he leads the way in healing.
NEPAL — Pray for the team as they serve in a country where Christians are a small minority. Nepali team members face many challenges, including hostility, political unrest, and deep cultural and religious differences. Following up with listeners is often difficult, yet the gospel continues to go out. Ask God to protect and strengthen each member of the team.
PERSIAN — Give thanks with us for a team member who will be ordained on February 15! He first heard the gospel shared through Words of Hope’s Persian broadcasts in 2003. Pray that God will bless his ministry and use him to lead many others to Christ. We give thanks that God is transforming lives through the power of his Word.
INDIA — Pray for a team member in India who is grieving the loss of his mother. We give thanks that she, as a believer, is now with Christ. We ask God to comfort our team member and surround him with strength. Please pray that the Lord would sustain him in every practical and spiritual way.
NIGER — Give thanks that our producer’s family is safe and in good health after relocating from Makalondi to Niamey to escape terrorist activity. Pray for continued protection as they wait for the security situation to improve. Ask that God would bring lasting peace to the region and would comfort those affected by violence.
INDIA — Over 80 women attended a retreat in India focused on growing in Christ. We praise God for the strong response and for the desire the women showed for ongoing spiritual encouragement. Pray that the lessons shared—on prayer, faith, and noble character—would take root in each heart.
INDONESIA — We give thanks for the smooth production and broadcasting of our team’s Bible Study programs, especially their recent series on Revelation. Many community members are gaining a clearer, hope-filled understanding of this often-misunderstood book. Pray that the truth of Christ’s victory replaces people’s fear and confusion with confidence and peace.
SOUTH SUDAN — The team in South Sudan has renewed their focus on peace, reconciliation, healing, and unity across South Sudan. We praise God for a fruitful board meeting where new resolutions were made to strengthen the ministry. Pray that these efforts will transform hearts and promote godliness across tribal and social lines.
DEVOTIONAL — A devotional reader wrote in to say: “I am so thankful for this devotional. Words of Hope has been in my life for 70+ years, as my parents read this every day after dinner.” Give thanks for the life change that is possible when we engage with Scripture daily, year after year. Pray that God would encourage each of us to stay connected to the Bible.
TÜRKIYE — Pray for the people of Türkiye, that hearts would be open to the truth and hope of the gospel. Ask God to strengthen believers who often face isolation and opposition in their faith. Pray too for wisdom and boldness for our ministry partners as they share God’s Word so that many may come to know the peace and salvation found in Christ alone.
ALBANIA — Pray for the people of Albania, that the light of Christ would shine in a culture shaped by decades of atheism. Ask God to encourage and equip local believers as they share the gospel with their neighbors. Pray for open doors for ministry through media, especially among young people seeking the truth.
