TÜRKIYE — Pray for the believers in Türkiye to stand firm in their faith and to be encouraged daily by God’s presence. Ask that the message of Christ would spread with openness and be received by many hearts. Pray for church leaders to be equipped with wisdom and courage as they shepherd their congregations.
INDONESIA — Please pray for the strengthening of faith among audiences of devotional programs in regional languages across Indonesia. Of the 22 language services, 11 still lack community groups, including Acehnese, Sundanese, Balinese, Toraja, and others. Pray for wisdom and perseverance for translators as they work to form these groups.
INDIA — Give thanks for the Family Restoration Seminar led by Words of Hope’s South Asia director and his wife. There were 11 families who participated. The theme, “Let us do what leads to peace and mutual growth” (Romans 14:19), brought encouragement and renewal. Praise God for the visible changes already seen in families through these teachings.
UGANDA — Give thanks for ongoing discipleship programs that continue to equip believers in Uganda. Pray for the participants now in the second phase of training, that they may grow strong in faith and commitment. Also lift up those just joining as they are currently learning more about mission and outreach. Ask that God will use their service for his glory.
INDIA — Pray for a Words of Hope team member who is facing harassment from neighbors as he builds his house. Recently, his young son was injured when a brick was thrown at him, adding to the family’s distress. Ask God to protect the team member and his family from further harm and give them peace in this trial.
DEVOTIONAL — Give thanks that we are increasingly able to include the devotional writings of Christians from around the world in our daily devotional booklet. One reader wrote to say: “I am very grateful for the many encouraging and uplifting daily readings written by people in Indonesia. Thank you for compiling them and sharing these true Words of Hope.”
NIGER — Pray for new believers in Niger who often face persecution and are even sent away from their families after coming to Christ. Ask the Lord to provide safe places of shelter and support for these converts, especially those from a Muslim background. Lift up evangelists, pastors, and missionaries who struggle to meet this pressing need in their country.
NEPAL — Give thanks for K., who comes from a poor family and has joyfully accepted Jesus Christ. She is faithfully attending church and caring for her family with love. Praise God for the new Maithili language program, which has strengthened her faith and encouraged her deeply. Pray that she continues to grow in Christ and boldly share the Good News with others.
ALBANIA — Pray for the people of Albania to be open to the message of the gospel and to find true hope in Christ. Ask God to strengthen local churches and pastors as they serve faithfully in a society still marked by atheistic history. Pray for young people to rise up with passion and boldness to follow Jesus.
BHUTAN — Give thanks for the miraculous healing and new life of N., who was paralyzed after a tragic accident. Praise God for the faithful prayers of the church that led him to recovery and to salvation in Christ. We rejoice that he was baptized and now desires to serve God wholeheartedly. He is now receiving theological training to become equipped for future ministry.
SOUTH SUDAN — Give thanks for the opportunity to share transformative messages through government radio stations in South Sudan. Praise God that these programs in the Dinka language are reaching listeners with encouragement and hope. Pray that the broadcasts will continue to make a positive impact.
