The Family of God

uganda church worship

Ignatius is a Ugandan Christian with a calling to lead his community to faith in Jesus. He lives in a nation where Christianity is very widely practiced, but because of extreme poverty and lack of resources, it is nearly impossible for churches to disciple those who are turning to the gospel.

But despite the challenges of his environment, Ignatius finds ways to point his community closer to Jesus. His life took a transformative turn when he heard about an annual youth conference mobilized by Words of Hope Uganda. Eager to deepen his spiritual journey, he felt an irresistible pull to attend.

Ignatius attended the conference with an open heart and mind. The messages at the event resonated deeply with him, sparking a newfound sense of purpose and vision in his heart. After the conference ended, Ignatius began to feel called to a life of service to those around him, and to channel his enthusiasm and leadership skills to make a tangible difference in his community.

His spirit renewed, Ignatius reached out to our Words of Hope office. In a heartfelt call, he expressed his deep appreciation for the spiritual guidance he had received through our ministry. His testimony stands as a powerful testament to God’s work in his life. Today, Ignatius continues to be a vigorous youth leader, inspiring others in his community with his unwavering faith and dedication. His journey is a shining example of how God’s grace can transform lives through dedicated ministry efforts.

These stories are only possible with your help. When churches can’t effectively shepherd their flocks due to financial issues, it’s up to individuals like Ignatius to teach the gospel of Christ to their communities.

Thank you for helping Words of Hope build the kingdom of God in Uganda.
