Series: Called into Community

As believers, God doesn’t just call us into a relationship with him. We are called out of lonely isolation and into community with other believers.

Individualism is deeply embedded in our culture, but this is not the model we see in the Bible. In contrast, in Scripture we see that God has called us to live in community, a beloved and blessed community.

Together we honor God’s name and are a witness and a channel of God’s love in the world. It’s not something that anyone can do alone; it takes all of us, the body of Christ, the church.

In this 7-day devotional series, you are invited to consider the Biblical examples of community, and reflect on the community God has called you into, starting with the community found with the Trinity, to the community of all believers, and then to your own church.
