Why Kosovo Needs Hope
Kosovo is a small, landlocked country in Southeastern Europe. It declared independence from Serbia in 2008, but it still not recognized by some countries to be independent. The country of Kosovo has about 1.8 million people. Most of the population is ethnic Albanian, with Serb and other minority communities. The main religion is Islam, with small Christian minorities including Serbian Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant groups. Kosovo is also a young country, with many people under the age of 30.
Words of Hope provides a positive voice to the small population of Christians and seekers in Kosovo, reaching its cities and villages through FM radio programs and social media.
