Who Is God?

Have you ever longed to hear God’s voice with clarity? Life is full of questions. Who am I? What am I to do? Where is God leading me? In moments of uncertainty, we wonder if God still speaks, and if he does, how can we recognize his voice?
This devotional reading plan walks with Moses through Exodus 2–4 as he learns to discern and respond to God’s call. From his earliest days, rescued from the Nile, raised in Pharaoh’s house, hidden in Midian, Moses’s life shows how God uses ordinary people and circumstances to prepare us for extraordinary purposes. At the burning bush, Moses encounters the living God who not only calls him but also equips him. Through Moses’s doubt, fear, and excuses, God shows that his presence and provision are always enough.
Each day’s reading invites you to reflect on your own journey: the people who have shaped you, the past experiences that prepared you, the sins forgiven through Jesus, and the moments when God whispers, “I will send you.” Along the way, you’ll be reminded that God is faithful to his promises, patient with our questions, and powerful to accomplish his mission through us.
If you’re searching for direction, courage, or reassurance today, take heart: God still speaks. He calls you his beloved and invites you to trust him with your future. May Moses’s example help you listen more closely and respond with faith to the God who calls.
