Pray that God’s purposes for Uganda would be fulfilled and that his name would be honored throughout the nation.
Pray against all forms of tribalism, division, and hostility between the many indigenous ethnic groups in Uganda.
Pray for accountability and transparency across public offices in Uganda, so that resources benefit every citizen.
Pray for stability among the many diverse communities across Uganda. Sovereign Lord, hear our prayers for the country of Uganda.
Pray for the Ugandan president and government officials to have wisdom and integrity, acting with justice as they lead the country.
While Christianity in Uganda is widespread, many believers there lack a strong foundation in God’s Word. Poverty, limited educational opportunities, and the influence of false teachings have left many people without the biblical discipleship they need to grow in their faith. For many, following Christ has become more of a cultural identity than a life transformed by the gospel.
Pray for the long-delayed South Sudanese elections coming up in December 2026, that they would be fair, equitable, and peaceful.
Pray for the faithful planting of gospel seeds by all those at work in South Sudan. Ask God to bring an abundant harvest through their efforts.
Pray for church leaders being trained and equipped, that they would faithfully teach God’s Word, shepherd their congregations well, and multiply disciples.
