The Words of Hope daily devotional is distributed all across the United States and Canada. It is placed in markets and restaurants. It is sent to churches and to prisons. We encourage people to use it because we know it will encourage them. Yet, while we know where we send copies of the devotional, we do not always know where they end up. Sometimes they get passed along as gifts, found on the side of the road, or accidentally picked up thinking they were something else entirely. We don’t often hear these stories, but when we do, they are always exciting. One recent email came in (names have been changed).
Dear Words of Hope Ministries,
Last Fall, my 17 yr. old daughter introduced me to Jesus & Words of Hope daily devotionals and I fell in love.
Words of Hope has completely changed my entire life. I was in a very dark time in my life and this period lasted many years.
Today my life is full of love, light and a better way of living and I owe it all to the power of the Lord and the loving words I found in your devotionals.
I am 45 yrs. old and am originally from [Northwestern United States]. I recently moved to [the Southwest] to begin my new life, with my parents.
I haven’t yet found any job opportunities so my income is non-existent as of yet, but I could really use a new devotional and would be happy to send a donation when I am financially stable. Can you please help me?
I would like the devotional(s) mailed to me as opposed to email because I like to keep them with me on my nightstand along with my Bible so I can pick one up when ever I want, which is generally quite often! It would mean so very much to me if you could send me whatever you can.
We pray for Susan and are happy to have played a role in her life. If you know someone who could use the devotional and would like to give a gift subscription, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a story of how Words of Hope devotional has affected your life, you can use the above email or write to us at
