Words of Hope equips indigenous Christian leaders to share the good news of Jesus Christ in their own communities and languages.
Local Words of Hope leaders produce Bible-based devotionals, radio broadcasts, and online content, and also oversee holistic community programs that meet people right where they are.
By strengthening and resourcing indigenous leaders, Words of Hope is helping to create sustainable ministries around the world. Together, we are making it possible for unreached people to hear and understand the hope of the gospel.
Our Focus
Indigenous Leadership
The saving hope of the gospel is most effectively shared by local Christians in their own communities and cultural contexts. We equip over 220 indigenous Christian leaders around the world.
Heart Languages
The message of Christ is heard best in the language a person has spoken from birth—the language they dream in, cry in, pray in. We believe that all language groups—even small ones—deserve access to Christian media content; because no one should have to learn a language to hear the gospel. Words of Hope produces Christian media in over 80 languages.
Unreached People
Every person matters to God. And as many as 2 billion people have never had a chance to hear the gospel. Words of Hope focuses on reaching the hardest-to-reach people—who live in places where Christianity is under-resourced, persecuted, or barely present.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the hope of the world. We believe that the Bible reveals God’s truth. We believe that God commissions us to make disciples of all nations. We affirm the Apostles’ Creed.
